About

Grove English is a place to learn English with flashcards and quizzes. The materials are written by the Grove English team and by teachers, and learners study them at their own pace.

For learners

Go through a flashcard set, mark the cards you know and practise writing the words. A quiz is checked page by page as you go. Words you want to keep go into My words, with your own notes.

With an account you earn XP for studying, set a daily goal and keep a streak.

For teachers

Teachers make flashcard sets and quizzes, or paste them in as text, and share them with a link. They can run groups, invite learners by email and set homework.

Any account can become a teacher.

Levels

Every set and quiz has a level from A1 to C2, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
