Terms

This service, groveenglish.com, is operated by Grove English. By using it you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what is done with it here. Any account can become a teacher. A teacher's published materials open by link at once and appear in the public catalogue after we review the teacher's account.

Grove English is for people aged 16 and over.

Materials

Flashcards, quizzes and other materials are written by teachers on the platform; those signed “Grove English” are prepared by the platform itself. Learners may use them for their own learning.

Teachers keep the rights to what they write. By publishing, a teacher allows the platform to show the material to learners, to keep it available after the teacher's account is deleted, and to make copies of it for the platform.

What is not allowed

• trying to get into other people's accounts;
• uploading content you have no right to share;
• overloading or disrupting the service.

We may block or delete an account that breaks these rules.

Groups

A teacher invites only people who expect it and uses what they see about group members only for teaching them. A teacher does not invite anyone under 16 without a parent's consent.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Questions go to hello@groveenglish.com.
