Health and the body: English by topic

Health words are needed at the chemist's, at the doctor's and simply to explain what hurts. At A1 the topic starts with parts of the body: head, shoulder, knee, tooth (plural: teeth). A2 covers illness and a visit to the doctor: headache, sore throat, temperature, appointment, chemist's. B1 turns to sport and lifestyle: to keep fit, to warm up, injury, to put on weight. The B2 set is about medicine: symptom, diagnosis, side effect, painkiller, to recover. You can work through the whole topic, from naming parts of the body to talking about a diagnosis, or go straight to your own level.
