Nature and the environment: English by topic

Nature is taken broadly here: from pets to the planet's climate. At A1 there are simple sets on animals (dog, horse, rabbit, frog) and on the weather and seasons (sunny, cloudy, windy, storm). At B2 the subject is the environment: greenhouse gas, carbon footprint, renewable, deforestation, biodiversity, sustainable. The B2 words are needed when you are asked for your view on environmental problems, in an essay or in a debate. The A1 sets suit beginners; the B2 set is for those getting ready to discuss the environment seriously. If you are just starting, do the A1 sets along with other topics at that level, and come back to B2 when you are ready to read about the climate.
