Travel and places: English by topic

A trip calls for words from several areas at once: the town, transport, hotels, sightseeing. At A1 it is places in town: post office, library, bus stop, car park, station. At A2, transport and getting around: platform, timetable, delay, to check in, to miss (a train). At B1, travel and holidays: accommodation, sightseeing, itinerary, jet lag, travel insurance. If you are planning a trip, do the sets at your level and the level below: they often hold the very words you find you are missing at the airport or the station. The A1 set is also useful if you give directions to tourists in your own town.
